Why We Should Print Our Photos Now More Than Ever

Digitals are for a day, prints are forever.
There’s just something special about being able to hold your photos in your hands.

As a millennial, I truly understand the need for digital copies of your images. We naturally wish to share our beautiful families on social media, or send them to loved ones who live far away. That’s why we include digitals with our Keepsake Boxes and Albums. But there are some important reasons why we don’t sell them as an individual product. The first is that we are a print based studio. We create art that is for displaying on canvas or in frames on your walls, or a beautiful collection in an album or keepsake box.

It’s for you to show and be proud of. We also believe that digitals are incomparable to the tangibility and nostalgic pleasure that prints bring. There’s just something truly special about going through an album and looking back on memories that are perfectly captured in time. We go through exclusive professional labs to ensure that your prints are of archival museum quality. These prints will be enjoyed by you and your loved ones literally for generations to come.

Nothing compares to reading your own story.

If your home was burning down, what would you save? This is a question that has been asked forever, and almost always the answer is “my photos.” There’s a growing trend for photos to be saved to USBs, social media and the cloud. There’s a problem with this, though. We never see them! Once we hit ‘post’, we get some buzz for a day or two, and then they’re gone. Similarly, on a USB they tend to sit in a draw to be forgotten. Prints are on your walls, on your coffee table, even on your desk at work. They celebrate you and your family, reminding you of the love that binds you together and the challenges you’ve overcome.

One day our current technology will become obsolete. Like floppy discs, CDs and VHS, our current tech will one day fade in to the past. Prints, on the other hand, will stand the test of time and become treasures to be handed down, irreplaceable family heirlooms.
